I have something to admit to all of you. I’m a K-Cup addict. I asked for a Keurig single-cup coffee brewer for Christmas a few years ago and now I own two of them; one for home, one for the office. The machines are great, easy to use, easy to maintain, and reduce the overall cost of my coffee habit. For approximately $0.50 per cup, I can enjoy fresh-brewed coffee any time.
I’m a big fan of single-cup brewing. I’m the only one in my family who drinks coffee so making a pot is a big waste. Even at the smallest setting, a pot of drip brewed coffee makes too much and it just takes too long. With the Keurig I can have a hot cup of coffee within minutes of turning on the machine. When I have guests visiting I don’t have to worry about individual preferences for coffee, tea or cocoa. I can brew an Extra Bold variety for my high-test friends, decaf for those who like the taste of coffee without the kick of caffeine, or a flavored blend. Tea and cocoa K-Cups are available or simply use the brewer as a hot water heater and mix your own teas and cocoas.
Do yourself a favor, get a Keurig!
